“The Rhythm Wheel” is a mandala adjacent design I created featuring basic rhythmic notation circled around silence (the rest note). As much as I love drums, most of the merchandising and logos I’ve seen on the market aren’t really my style. So I aimed to make a product and design that matched the aesthetic I prefer and allowed me to display my dedication to drums in a unique way. That’s why initially created this piece to be a car emblem. However, when we received the final product, we quickly realized it also works great as a coaster for the home.
